In this context, nursing has expanded beyond its traditional boundaries, assuming a critical role at the intersection of patient-centered care, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
This book has been developed to provide a comprehensive and contemporary perspective on the key issues shaping modern nursing. The chapters cover a broad spectrum of topics, including the prevention of bleeding complications following coronary artery bypass graft surgery, health risks in young adulthood, and the management of geriatric syndromes such as frailty and sarcopenia in clinical settings. In addition, the integration of digital health tools—particularly mobile applications in the care of patients with eating disorders—is examined as an essential component of current practice.
